Hardin County Horse Banquet begins with silent auction

HARDIN COUNTY – The eighth annual Hardin County Horse Banquet will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Kenton Moose Family Center. Banquet tickets this year are $12 for adults and $9 for youth younger than 18 years of age. Children ages 6 and younger are admitted free. The doors will open at 4 p.m. for a silent auction to raise funds for the scholarship fund and food will be served at 5:30 p.m.

Reservations need to be made by Feb. 15 by calling the following Hardin County Horse Club advisors or committee members: Jonda Cole, Wendy Hooker, Ashley Haudenshield, Laura Gossard, or Ranee Liedel. The OSU Extension office can also take reservations with all tickets paid for at the door the day of the banquet.

The Hardin County Horse Banquet recognizes the equine industry. Updates for the horse exhibitors will be provided at the banquet. The 2023 horse king, queen, prince, and princess will be crowned at this event. There are plans to present a $250 scholarship.
