LIMA — The first-half real estate and mobile home taxes are due this Friday, Feb. 10.
Payments by check or cash may be made at the treasurer’s office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Allen County Courthouse, or at any of the Allen county branches of Superior Credit Union or Union Bank, but you must have your tax bill stub.
Payment may be mailed with a US Post Office postmark by Feb. 10. Checks and money orders only in an envelope may be dropped in the after-hours mail drop at the front of the main entrance to the courthouse at 302 N. Main St. before midnight Friday.
Credit cards may also be used, but there is an associated fee not charged by the treasurer. Credit card payments may be made at the treasurer’s office, by phone at 1-866-739-0469 or online at www.allencountyohtreasurer.com.
