BATH TOWNSHIP — Bath Township Firefighter of the year Emergency Medical Services Provide of the Year and more were announced Friday evening at Union Chapel Missionary church.
Platoon Chief Jared Jenkins was named firefighter of the year. Jenkins began working at the department in 2006 and was nominated due to his commitment to training, education and professional development.
According to a release, Jenkins is “dedicated to the safety of his crew.” He sets high standards for himself and the department.
Allen County Commssioner Beth Seibert spoke at the event.
