Elida students to perform at district 3 concert

ELIDA — The Ohio Music Education Association district 3 concert will be held on Sunday, January 15th 2023 at 3:00 pm at The Van Wert Niswonger Performing Arts Center.

Elida High School will be well represented when the OMEA District 3 Honors Band, Choir and Jazz Band meet and perform in January at the Van Wert Niswonger Performing Arts Center.

Almost 400 musicians auditioned for the three groups. Members of the Elida Music department that auditioned and were accepted include: Concert Band: Senior Caylah Miller, Alto Saxophone and Senior Chloe Parent, Principal Euphonium; Jazz Band: Senior Zoey Rizor, Drum set; Choir: Freshman Railee Ronshausen, Soprano; Sophomore Leila Hannouz, Soprano and Junior Zac Schmunk, Tenor.

OMEA district 3 represents eight counties and over 60 high schools.
