‘LOST. RECOVERED. REBORN’ opening reception

6:30 p.m. Friday

ArtSpace/Lima is hosting an opening reception for “LOST. RECOVERED. REBORN.” at 6:30 p.m. Friday. This exhibit features the works of three artists: Lisa Austin, Karen Bondarchuk and Steve Parlato. It will include a variety of art forms, including collage, prints, sculpture and more. The art will be featured in three galleries at ArtSpace/Lima, with the exhibit continuing through the end of the year.

‘Honky Tonk Hissy Fit’ in Van Wert

Catch all the antics in the west Texas town of Double Wide at Off Stage Production’s performance of “Honky Tonk Hissy Fit” this weekend at Vantage Career Center, 818 N. Franklin St., Van Wert. Tickets for Friday’s show are $15, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Saturday are $28 and include a buffet meal at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Sunday are also $28 with the buffet meal starting at 1 p.m. and the show starting at 2 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the box office at 419-605-6708.

CASA Superhero 5K

10 a.m. Saturday

Crime Victim Services’ Court Appointed Special Advocates Program (CASA) is holding its 2nd annual Superhero 5K from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Faurot Park pavilion. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero attire during the run. The event will also include face painting and a selfie station. Entry is $30 per participant. ‘Legally Blonde’ at Niswonger

7:30 p.m. Saturday

See the popular movie come to life on stage with “Legally Blonde,” set to play Saturday at Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert. Follow Elle Woods as she overcomes stereotypes to pursue her dreams and prove you can be both blonde and the smartest person in the room. Tickets are available at http://www.vanwertlive.com.

CORDIS at Bluffton University

7:30 p.m. Monday

Contemporary ensemble group CORDIS will perform “Condition Blue: The Acoustics of Aquatics” at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Yoder Recital Hall. The performance will be held in partnership with the National Geographic Society, featuring a collection of both traditional and water-based instruments playing along with breathtaking film and narration, providing a true multimedia experience.
