Art Walk

6-8 p.m. Thursday

Downtown Lima, Inc. and ArtSpace/Lima will hold a free Art Walk event in downtown Lima. Participating locations include: Alter Ego Comics, ArtSpace/Lima, Beauty by Jill Salon & Spa, Citizen’s National Bank, Crankers Cycling, Hofeller, Hiatt & Clark, Joey’s Italian Subs, Metro Center Upscale Lofts, Old City Prime, Ohio Theatre, Our Town Roast, Purple Feet Wine Boutique, Rhodes State College, The 318, The Meeting Place, The Met, Veteran’s Memorial Civic & Convention Center, Vibe Coffeehouse and Wingate by Wyndham.

ONU 5K

8 p.m. Thursday

Ohio Northern University will host a 5K Walk/Run along the “Green Monster” paved trail on the west side of campus near King Horn Sports Center, 609 W. Lincoln Ave., Ada. The first 50 participants who register will receive an ONU Mental Health Prevention and Awareness water bottle and towel. The cost is $10 to participate. Wapakoneta Craft Beer Festival

6-9 p.m. Saturday

This festival, held at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds, 1001 Fairview Drive, Wapakoneta, celebrates the success of 15 to 20 local Ohio breweries and will offer tastings of over 40 selections, making it one of the largest craft beer festivals in the region. Included in the admission price are unlimited beer tastings, delicious food, great live music, and raffle prizes. VIP tickets are $80, General Admission Tickets are $60 and Designated Driver Tickets are $20. This is a 21+ event—this includes Designated Drivers. All attendees must show a valid photo I.D. at the door. All ticket sales are final.

WAR Wrestling

7 p.m. (wrestling begins) Saturday

Empowered Sports Center, 1730 N. Union St. in Lima, will host its 20th anniversary event of “United We Stand.” Purchase advanced tickets at Groamy’s Cd’s & Tapes, 1206 W. Robb Ave., Lima or online at warwrestling.ticketleap.com/united-we-stand-2022/. Advance tickets cost $18 for reserved VIP 3rd Row (1st and 2nd rows are sold out) or $10 each (or 4 for $35) for general admission. Tickets at the door cost $18 (VIP) or $10 (general admission). Matches already signed include Aaron Williams (WAR Champion) vs. Orlando Christopher, The Wiseguys with Ripper Blackhart vs. Jake Wily & Braden Elliott (The Rad Boyz), Ariel Alexander with Agent Nick Hahn vs. Harley Fairfax, Cody Hawk and Brandon Fields vs. champions Jimmy Shane and Will The Thrill.

Docent Enrichment Week Speakers

9:15 a.m. Tuesday

The Allen County Museum will host three speakers at the Allen County Museum, 620 W. Market St., Lima. The talks include “History of Maple Sugaring,” presented by Dan Hodges, “Allen County Museum Online Resources,” presented by Morgan Miller, Curatorial Assistant, ACM and “Hayes and the Great Lakes Connection,” presented by Dan Baker of the Hayes Presidential Site. It is one of three days of historical presentations.
