LIMA — The Allen County Fair is hosting the annual Gospel Tent with worship every night throughout the fair starting at 7:00 p.m. This annual event gives way to worship while enjoying local fair activities. The Gospel Tent will be hosting various groups such as The Perrys, Bobby Bowen Family, The Nelons, The Sound, a family movie night with the Lotz Sisters, Glory Way, Ryan Stevenson, I Am They, and Worship Anyway.
“We are so excited to partner with the Gospel Tent in lifting up the name of Jesus and seeing lives impacted for the gospel,” said Dr. Joshua Steinke of Worship Anyway. “We know there are so many who need hope and healing. While we may be a different face for the gospel tent, the mission is still the same: Worship Anyway.”
Lori McCullough, Debbie Burrell and Larry Fink collaborated to bring new voices to the Gospel Tent.
“This year we decided to shift the focus from entertainment standpoint to making it more focused on the Gospel,” said McCullough. “We want to make sure there is an opportunity every night for people to accept the Gospel. Revive Ohio will be bringing a baptismal pool. At the end of the week on Saturday, anyone who would want to be baptized or rededicate themselves will be able to become baptized that night.”
The Gospel Tent will also be hosting the ministry Children Choosing Christ. The ministry will be present in the tent daily from Saturday, August 20 to Saturday, August 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Sunday the event will begin at 12:00 p.m. following the Sunday morning service on August 21 at 9:00 a.m.
