LIMA — Fighter jets flew over Lima on Tuesday afternoon, but there’s nothing to fear, officials said.
The 180th Fighter Wing said in a Facebook post that residents in the Lima and Wapakoneta area may have heard or seen fighter jets in close proximity to a Civil Air Patrol aircraft. The tests were set to conclude by 2:30 p.m.
It was part of the Aerospace Control Alert system, according to the unit, based out of Toledo.
