The JoJo McZunk Band, formerly known as Forty Acre from St. Marys, will kick off the Party in the Park Summer Concert Series in Downtown Wapakoneta’s Heritage Park. It’s a free event and a sure-fire way to kick off your weekend the right way.
Family Movie Night: ‘Sing 2’
9 p.m. Saturday
The film ‘Sing 2’ will be projected onto a giant movie screen on the soccer fields at the Harrod Event Center, 95020 Harrod Road, Harrod. A $5 donation per person or $20 per family will be given to Harrod, Lafayette and Westminster fire departments. Arrive early to take an up-close look at first response vehicles, including a Life Flight Helicopter, SWAT vehicle, police cruiser and more.

A Fox on the Fairway

Check out this farce about a competition between golfers at Encore Theatre, 991 N. Shore Drive, Lima. Tickets are $15 for addults, $12 for seniors, $10 for students and $8 for children 10 and under. Sarah Glover-Crawford acts and directs in the season finale for the community theater’s production year.
Party on the Rink
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday
The Lima Police Department and Exchange Club are offering a chance to try out roller hockey for free at the roller rink, 707 N. Jameson, Lima. People of all ages can see if the sport’s for you while enjoying food, pick-up games, music and raffles.
