91st birthday: Ada Brenneman

LIMA —Ada Brenneman is celebrating her 91st birthday. A birthday party is planned May 2 from 2-4 p.m. at Salem Mennonite Church. For those unable to attend, birthday cards may be sent to Brenneman at The Springs of Lima, 370 N. Eastown Rd., Lima, 45807.

Brenneman was born May 22, 1930, in Waseon to Charles and Bessie Miller. On June 6, 1952, she married Andy Brenneman. She has six children, Sharon (Larry) Vandemark, Mary Ann (Bob) Moore, Byron (Sue) Brenneman, Brenda (Ken) Good, all of Elida, Debbie (Jay) Hoover, of Byron, Ill., and Bonnie (Tim) Good, of Lima. She has 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren with one due in May and one due in July.

Brenneman worked at Elida Auction House making all the food. She loves to quilt and do word puzzles. She is a member of Salem Mennonite Church, where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and was an elder.
