VAN WERT — This weekend is slated with activities for you and your Valentine, highlighted by a Whitney Houston tribute at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center.

• “The Greatest Love: Whitney Houston Tribute”: 7:30 p.m., Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 10700 state Route 118 S, Van Wert. Vocalist Belinda Davids is joined by a live band, backing vocalists and choreographed dancers to bring Houston’s musical legacy to life. • “Casablanca” screening: 8 p.m., Crouse Performance Hall, Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 7 Town Square. Tickets are $5 at limaciviccenter.com or at the door. Concessions will be available, including beer, wine and liquor.
• “God, Teach Us to Love” couples night: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics Upper Room, 2291 St. John’s Road, Maria Stein. The cost is $30 per couple and reservations are required at mariasteinshrine.org. Father Alexander Witt, Parochial Vicar of Coldwater Cluster Parishes will give a presentation on the Trinity.
• Valentine’s Day spaghetti dinner: 5 to 7 p.m., Gilboa United Methodist Church, 102 Franklin St., Gilboa. Join for love, food and fellowship over a spaghetti and meatball dinner with tossed salad, breadsticks and homemade desserts. The cost is by donation and carry-out will be available.
