OTTAWA — This weekend is your chance to check out what readers voted as the second-best place to listen to music in the 2019 Best of the Region.
Downtown Ottawa will transform into Little Nashville as eight locations will feature different live music acts.
“When you go to Ottawa, you see a bar about every corner,” said Thomas “Duffer” Rosenbaur, event organizer. “People can mingle in the street, talk to their friends and people they don’t see but once a year.”
Entertainment at the downtown amphitheater will include Hubie Ashcraft from 8 to 11 p.m. preceded by Kaitlyn Schmit and The Move from 5 to 8 p.m.
From 5 to 8 p.m., pop by the following participating locations as well: American Legion Post 63 (Al Felkey Mixed Up Band), Schnipke Inn (Mechanically Tuned DJ), Cavern Club Winery (Steve Frey Band), Legends (The Kid), Eagles (Truck Stop Manners), VFW Post 9142 (Shifferly Road) and Big Daddy’s (Full Ammo).
