LIMA — ArtSpace/Lima’s fifth annual Home for the Holidays art sale opens today.
Home for the Holidays will showcase works from jewelry to photography to sculpture, said Sally Windle, Artspace/Lima interim director.
ArtSpace/Lima is a not-for-profit arts organization, supported by an Ohio Arts Council grant, that promotes the arts in northwest Ohio and provides artists with a space to showcase their work.
“We want to promote the work of local artists and craftsmen and sell their unique work and provide different options for gift giving,” said Windle.
All of the pieces are one of a kind, said Windle.
Windle said the community should come out and support local artists because it’s essential to the economy.
“We have unique items that you can’t get anywhere,” said Windle. “The arts are so important to our community because it’s a part of our creative economy.”
