FINDLAY — Findlay starts its 19th annual BalloonFest today with hot air balloons filling the skies and ends Sunday with a concert by country musician Bryan White.

“This year in particular, you’re going to see more growth as far as events that are expanding into Sunday. We actually added a concert and the craft show will be taking place as well,” said Sarah Folt, media chairwoman for the Flag City BalloonFest.

A balloon glow takes place both tonight and Saturday nights at dusk. Tonight, there will be fireworks afterward.

“So if you’re there for the balloon glow, you’ll want to stay for the fireworks,” said Foltz.

For those that would like the experience, but not take on a full flight, tethered balloon rides are being offered from 6 p.m. to dusk tonight and Saturday nights, weather permitting.
