BLUFFTON — The 14th annual Bluffton Fall Festival takes place at six locations Saturday.
The Bluffton Fall Festival was started to give back to the community.
“Basically just give a little bit back to the community and provide some type of family activity. It started as a singular event that just took place at Mennonite Memorial Home and over the years has grown bigger and grown into a few more stops. Now we’re able to offer something that is truly a community event,” said Daren Lee, event coordinator and director of Maple Crest.
Through the years, the coordinators have strived to make the Fall Festival appeal to everyone.
“There is no charge and that’s really the point of what we do is try to make it a day that anyone could enjoy that’s able to come. There would be things for sale as far as food, there’s a craft sale, so those things would be for sale, but as far as going to a venue and having to expect to pay for anything, that won’t happen, unless you choose to buy something,” said Lee.
The festival offers the likes of craft expos, an antique tractor show, horse-drawn carriage rides, kids activities including inflatables and pony rides.
