ST. MARYS — Blues icon Wayne Baker Brooks will be the headlining act during the 2015 Riverside Bluesfest Saturday.

The concert provides a great background in a naturally provided amphitheater along the banks of the St. Marys River in K.C. Geiger Park.

Other performers slated for the concert include Teeny Tucker, Bumper Jacksons, The Sonny Moorman Group, Hurricane Jerry & Stormfront and the Adam Andrews Blues Band. Ben Tuttle, a local talent, will kick off the show by playing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at noon. The show is being sponsored by the K.C. Geiger Park Committee. All funds benefit the park.

“It is a great show and everyone seems to enjoy it,” said committee secretary Chris Botkin. “The concert is surrounded by a woods in a grass area, so it is scenic with good music.”

A variety of food vendors will be available. Also, if craft beer is your thing, you will have plenty to choose from.

“It is a festival atmosphere,” Botkins said. “While many provide two kinds of beer, we provide more than 20.”

Rivertown Divergent, Sweetwater 420, Dale’s Pale Ale and Redd’s Apple Ale are just some of the many beers that will be available. Wine and conventional canned beer will also be available.
