LIMA — Dr. Suman Misher will lead power pranayama and chair yoga from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27; Friday, Nov. 3; Friday, Nov. 10 and Friday, Nov. 17, at the Senior Citizens Center, 3400 W. Elm St., Lima.

Pranayama means controlled breathing and is a yoga exercise. Dr. Mishr will teach 10 different ways of breathing. Benefits of pranayama include efficient function of different systems of the body. Respiratory muscles and lungs are better trained to perform their work efficiently.
