ELIDA — Frances Madeline “Fran” McNett Hall celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner.
She was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Bath Township to William C. and Olive I. (Snyder) McNett. She married E. Basil Hall, who died March 27, 1998.
She has three children, Lois Cook, of Elida, Pamela (Tony) Lozano, of Delphos, and Douglas (Lisa) Hall, of Conyers, Georgia. She has six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A son-in-law, Gary Cook, and a daughter-in-law, Terry (Weber) Hall, are deceased.
She graduated from Lafayette-Jackson High School. She had worked at Elida High School, in the cafeteria and as a ticket seller, and Mickey’s Dry Cleaners, Elida. She has been a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Elida, for almost 60 years. She enjoys cooking and baking, known for her red velvet cakes. She enjoys watching the Elida Bulldogs, the Buckeyes, the Reds and Bengals, and Atlanta teams. She cherishes the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
