ELIDA — Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boley are celebrating 65 years of marriage. A surprise celebration was held this summer with extended family and friends. The couple enjoyed a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, over their anniversary with daughters and sons-in-law.
Boley and the former Kay Galloway were married Oct. 9, 1954, at Zion Presbyterian Church, Venedocia, by the Rev. Ellis Lloyd.
They are the parents of three children, Cheri (Craig) Zuber, of Elida, Kris (Tim) Maas, of Fort Jennings, and Brenda (Bill) Thorsby, of Charleston, South Carolina. They have seven grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Boley retired from Ford Motor Co., Lima. His wife retired from BP Chemical.
