LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Barry Muskus are celebrating 50 years of marriage with a private celebration Mass at St, Gerard Church, which will be followed by a private dinner. A celebration dance will be June 19, 2022, in Dayton.
Muskus and the former Debra “Debby” Dietz were married June 24, 1972, at Immaculate Conception Church in Botkins by the Rev. Robert Bastian.
They are the parents of two children, Cyndi (Jason) Oakley, of Jackson Center and Jennifer (Adam) Watters, of Lewis Center. They have five grandchildren. One son, Jeffrey Muskus, preceded them in death. A grandson, Jacob Oakley, also preceded them in death.
Muskus is a retired X-ray technician from St. Rita’s Medical Center.
His wife is a retired RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) of labor and delivery from St. Rita’s Medical Center.
