Bluffton University holding oratorical contest

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University is holding the C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, in Yoder Recital Hall, Bluffton University, 1 University Drive, Bluffton.

Students selected will prepare an oration no more than 10 minutes in length that applies a peace-church perspective to an issue of contemporary concern. First prize will receive $175; second place will receive $125 and third place takes home $100. The first prize winner will advance to compete with winning students from other North American Mennonite colleges.
