CELINA -- A downed transmission line Tuesday evening caused power outages in Celina, Coldwater and Rockford.

At 4:50 p.m., a power line west of the intersection of state Route 29 and state Route 127 took out power for about 4,516 Dayton Power and Light customers, according to DP&L representative Kelly Millhouse.

What caused the line break and fall was unknown. By use other circuit ties in the area, Millhouse said power was able to be restored by 7:30 p.m.
