Glenn L. Harford, 85, died at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 5, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Logan County to James F. and Rose Zella Toland Harford, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 19, 1949, he married Mary Frances Zentz, who survives.
Mr. Hartford was an Army veteran of World War II and worked as a machinist for both Clark Equipment and EMI. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8832, in Roundhead.
Survivors also include a daughter, Kadonna (Kenneth) Hunsberger of Wakarusa, Ind.; two sons, Lee (Sara) Harbour, of DeGraff, and Bob (Leena) Harford, of Lakeview; seven grandchildren, Shantel Harbour, Missy (Joe) Wooddell, Todd (Shonna) Harbour, Greg (Tara) Hunsberger, Jeff Hunsberger, Tim Hunsberger and Danielle (Matt) Meeker; nine great-grandchildren, Mason and Colin Harbour, Ashton Wooddell, Wiley Harbour, Mitchell and Monica Hunsberger, Jordan Meeker, and Taylor and Evan Varvel; a brother, Archie Harford of Forest; and Tom and Dawon Harford and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mabel Hower, Waneta Hower and Lucretia Searfoss; and six brothers, George, Fred, Ray, John, Bob and Dickie Harford.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Myron L. Van Horn Chapel of the Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview. Pastor Glen Gault will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, with military rites by the Logan County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
