Lima - Jean Ann Troyer, 73, died at 1:30 a.m. May 1, 2010, at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima
She was born April 17, 1937, in Columbus Grove to Albert and Eva Barfell Howell, who preceded her in death. On June 27, 1956, she married Wilbur D. Troyer, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Troyer worked as a laundry attendant at Econal Wash for 30 years. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors also include a daughter, Diana L. (Major Felipe) Tamayo, of Lima; a son, Michael D. Troyer, of Lima; three granddaughters, Angela R. (William) Long, Stephanie D. (Scott) Barton and Amy R. Tamayo; a great-grandson, Alexander Long; a great-granddaughter, Linnaea Long; and two sisters, Alice Newland and Blanch (Butch) Twining, both of Lima.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a sister, Nancy Plaugher.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Eastside Chapel. Major Felipe Tamayo will officiate. Her remains will be cremated.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
