Lima - Betty J. Jackson, 73, died at 7:05 a.m. Jan. 5, 2011, at the Angela Hospice Care Center, Detroit.
She was born July 8, 1937, in Cincinnati to Alfred P. and Ruth Wyatt Conyers, who preceded her in death. She married Haskell Woodley Sr., who preceded her in death. She then married Jimmy Jackson, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker. She loved shopping, crocheting, cooking and birds, especially her bird, Sugar. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony (Kimrel Bowie) Woodley and Kevin Johnson, both of Detroit; three daughters, Debra (Michael) Bulls, Trina (Melvin) Cannon and Geraldine (Floyd) Upshaw, all of Lima; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alfred P. (Annette) Conyers Jr., of Cincinnati, John Conyers, of Lima, and Robert (Etta) Conyers, of Cincinnati; three sisters, Irma Ivey, of Cincinnati, Bernice (Ahmed) Dramani, of Maryland, and Cassandra (Bobby Thompson) Conyers, of Lima.
She was preceded in death by twin daughters, Denise and Delphine Woodley; and a son Haskell Woodley Jr.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Cleven Jones will officiate.
