LimaKenneth C. Augsburger, 73, died at 11:02 p.m. June 14, 2011, at Lima Manor Nursing Home.He was born March 2, 1938, in Lima to Charles E. and Marie Greene Augsburger, who preceded him in death. On July 6, 1985, he married Rose M. Hershberger, who died March 4, 2009.Mr. Augsburger retired as an assembly line worker in 2004 from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant after 44 years. He was an Army veteran who proudly served. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, Fraternal Order of Orioles Nest 173 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed camping, fishing and watching the Food Network.Survivors include two sons, Kenneth C. (Teresa) Augsburger Jr., of Hockley, Texas, and Gary Lee (Charla) Augsburger, of Columbus; a daughter, Erma (Paul) Miller, of Magnolia, Texas; 10 stepchildren, Danny Hullinger, of Anderson, Ind., Roy Hullinger, of Russells Point, Eric (Libby) Hullinger, of Michigan, Melissa (Kevin) Miller, of Russells Point, Bonnie (James) Cummings, of Yorktown, Ind., Pauline (Roy) McDaries, of Delta, Vernnon (Joyce) Clark and Kenny (Judy) Clark, both of Lima, Melvin (Mary) Clark, of Delta, and Mayo (Bill) Prebe-Tattersall, of Point Place; two brothers, David (Mary) Augsburger, of Lima, and Dennis Augsburger, of California; a sister, Ruth A. (Chester) Wireman, of Kenton; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel.
