On Thursday, June 16, employees from the Procter & Gamble Lima Plant were great volunteers in our elderly day care center. Eric Maddy, senior cost analyst, led his department's employees through a fun afternoon of activities with 21 participants in our center. With enthusiastic help from the volunteers, clients enjoyed karaoke, bowling and bean bag toss. Elderly day care staff and clients appreciate the donation of time and energy from Procter & Gamble employees. In addition to time spent with area residents in our center, Eric Maddy arranged for the donation of a Wii machine for the seniors who attend the day care center. The donation was a great surprise and appreciated very much.On behalf of participants and in the elderly day care center, we thank Procter & Gamble, Eric Maddy and volunteers. We look forward to our next afternoon of activities with you.Lorain Lovett is program coordinator of the elderly day care program and Diane J. Bishop is executive director of the Allen County Council on Aging.
