LimaShelley L. Bowsher Selhorst, 47, died the morning of June 10, 2011, at her residence.She was born Oct. 4, 1963, in Lima to Jack L. and Linda C. Crider Bowsher, who survive near Elida.Mrs. Selhorst was a 1982 graduate of Elida High School and earned her degree in law enforcement at Rhodes State College in Lima. She worked as a corrections officer at Allen Correctional Institution, where she worked from 1991 until she retired. She was a member of the Brushes and Pallet Club of Findlay. She loved her dogs and all animals.Survivors also include a brother, Jeffrey J. Bowsher, of Lima; a nephew Patrick G. Bowsher, of Elida; two uncles, Terry (Donna) Crider, of Wapakoneta, and Robert (Sharon) Crider, of St. Marys; two aunts, Connie Hubble, of Tucson, Ariz., and Sharon Coleman, of Bremen; and a great-aunt, Donnabelle Crider, of Lima.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Faye Crider, and Jim and Mary Alice Bowsher.Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at tThomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Burial will follow in Spencerville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday.Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Program.
