Goldie M. Lhamon, 99, died at 11:10 a.m. Jan. 14, 2011, at Cridersville Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1911, in Perry Township to Sheridan and Pearl Logan Lingenfelter, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 4, 1929, she married Russell B. Lhamon, who died April 24, 1973.
Mrs. Lhamon was a homemaker. She was a member of First Church of the Open Bible.
Survivors include three sons, Samuel Roy Lhamon, of Baltimore, Burlin (Nancy) Lhamon, of Elida, and Robert (Patricia) Lhamon, of Wapakoneta; three daughters, Roberta (Joe) Cook and Faye (Harry) Coppler, both of Lima, and Ann (Dennis) Greer, of Manchester, Tenn., a sister, Gladys (Norm) Offenbacher, of Lima; a son-in-law, James Thomas, of Lima; and 46 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Thomas.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes. Chaplain Larry Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Uniopolis.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
