FindlayDenise Arlene Hendricks, 73, died at 6:14 p.m. Dec. 29, 2011, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.She was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Hardin County to Wilmer H. and Glenona R. Hathaway Badertscher, who preceded her in death.Mrs. Hendricks retired from Lakeview Farms and had owned the Blue Note Restaurant and Savannah's Restaurant, both in Lima, and D's Diner, Wapakoneta. She had also worked at Triplett Corp., Bluffton. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers, Lima. She enjoyed reading and playing cards and computer games. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.Survivors include two daughters, Dani (Sean) Gall, of Delaware, Ohio, and Debra (Brian) Jorgensan-Sidel, of Findlay; a sister, Mona (Joe) Losh, of Elida; three brothers, Robert (Vicki) Badertscher, of Arlington, Texas, James (Darlene) Badertscher, of Leipsic, and Ronald (Sharlee) Badertscher, of Bluffton; six grandchildren, Cory, Autumn, Crystal, Jordan, Camryn and Jase; four great-grandchildren, Seriniti, Marley, David and Landon; and a half brother, Michael Foster, of Wisconsin.She was preceded in death by a son, David Eric Hendricks; and a brother, Richard Badertscher.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Chaplain William Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
