LimaEli Thomas Hunter, 69, died at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 6, 2011, at Baton Rouge Senior Health Service Community.He was born July 12, 1942, in Itmon, W.Va., to Henry Clay and Mary C. Jones Hunter, who preceded him in death.Mr. Hunter had been a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Lima Christian Center.Survivors include a son, James W. Hunter, of Lima; three daughters, Catherine (Arnold) Focht, of Cairo, and Jodee R. Hunter and Christina (Maurice) Nixon, both of Lima; five brothers, William N. Hunter, Leonard P. Hunter, Millard E. Hunter, Carl G. Hunter and George D. Hunter; three sisters, Betty A. Hunter, Mabel R. Howell and Dorothy J. Hunter; 15 grandchidlren; four great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Velma McGill.He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas C. Hunter; five brothers, Robert L., Jimmie W., Charles, Clarence R. and Joe A. Hunter; and a sister, Rosa M. Streets.Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Chapel of Lima.
