Edna M. Caskey

LimaEdna M. Caskey, 74, died at 2:12 p.m. Sept. 2, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born April 8, 1937, in Lima, to Carl and Audra (Albert) Johnson. On June 9, 1956, she married Harley L. Caskey, who survives.Mrs. Caskey was a homemaker who worked at Shook Moser Laundry, Jim's Steak House and LK Restaurant. Survivors also include two sons, Henry Caskey, of Lima, and Dan (Sue) Caskey, of Saginaw, Mich.; three daughters, Beverly (Brian) Wise, of Lima, Connie (Dan) Kinnaird ,of Lima, and Peggy (Tim) McNett, of Lima; an adopted daughter, Nina Stemen, of Lima; three brothers, Danny Johnson, of Lima, Mack (Joyce) Johnson, of Lima and Chuck Johnson, of Florence, Ky.; three sisters, Goldie (Rodney) Estes, of Lima, Linda Johnson, of Lima and Pat (Edward) Caskey, of Lima; a very special niece, Audra Hunt, of Lima; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Richard Caskey; two grandsons, Harley and Tom Caskey; three sisters, Maggie Davis, Viola Dawson and Wanda Stemen; four brothers, Jim, Gerald, Frank and Jack Johnson. Services will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral Home. Pastor Bernie Horn will officiate. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
