Letter: Paterno should have alerted police

As an Ohio State fan, I've taken and tolerated all the ribbing about our team this year. We will and have survived and will move on. To all the loyal Penn State fans who enjoyed what we went through, you now have my sympathy. You can get over being punished for trading tattoos or working and making more than you should have, but how do you ever recover from having an accused child molester and sexual predator as part of your school? Former Penn State coach Joe Paterno also should be held as responsible as the man who allegedly did the act, for he could have prevented it by going to the police. Related Stories/Links
