Woman nabbed in Ga. wanted in Ohio

CELINAA Florida woman accused of attempting to cash stolen checks at Celina banks earlier this month was arrested in Georgia in a stolen vehicle, according to law enforcement officials.Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said Christina Ryan, 33, of Pompano Beach, Fla., was arrested on charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, a second-degree felony. Grey said Ryan was stopped for a traffic offense in Lowndes County, Ga., while driving a vehicle reported stolen from the Piqua area.Grey said authorities believe Ryan was the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Impala, which she abandoned after having made two attempts to cash stolen checks at banks in Celina on May 3. The checks had been reported stolen from a vehicle several days earlier.Three others Floridians were also arrested and charged with engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Hope D. Clark, 30, Vincent K. Rozier, 26, and Laquentin J. Jenkins, 27, all of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., remain in the Mercer County Jail.
