A storm that came through northwest Ohio brought torrential downpours, gusted winds as fast as 65 mph and left more than 1,600 American Electric Power customers without electricity in Allen County Saturday night.

According to the National Weather Service, the storm was the result of a cold front in the region. Luckily, dispatchers in Allen, Auglaize and Putnam counties reported little to no damage from the storm.

As of 8:30 p.m. Sunday, 101 AEP customers in Allen County were still without power.
