Elida defeats Fort Jennings in girls hoops

FORT JENNINGS — Shyah Wheeler and Bailee Kuhn had 11 points each and Abby Waddle scored 10 for Elida (3-9) in its 53-31 girls basketball victory over Fort Jennings (0-11) on Tuesday night.

Gabby Clippinger led Fort Jennings with eight points.

Delphos Jefferson 44,

Miller City 43

MILLER CITY — Delphos Jefferson outscored Miller City 16-13 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.

Jessica Pimpas had 11 points and Brooke Culp scored 10 for Jefferson. Cassie Niese had 12 points and Chrissey Berger scored 11 for Miller City.

KALIDA — Allison Recker had 19 points and Brittany Kahle scored 13 for Kalida. Ashton Bowersock had 13 points and Julia Thatcher scored 12 for Lincolnview.

Findlay 48, Celina 47

CELINA — Allison Taylor made three free throws with 1.5 seconds remaining as Findlay outscored Celina 23-6 in the final 5:26 of the game. Kelly Stahl had 12 points and Jenna Berry scored 11 for Celina.

BOTKINS — Sydney Miley had 21 points and Samm Milla scored 10 for Indian Lake. Kayla Heuker led Botkins with 14 points.
