Mark A. Quigley, 55, of Covington, Ind., formerly of Lima, died at 11:28 p.m. July 27, 2012, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.
He was born June 29, 1957, in Lima to Donald and Naomi Merritt Quigley, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 24, 1982, he married Kathleen Covault, who survives.
Mr. Quigley had last worked at the Home Depot in Crawfordsville. He was a woodworker and enjoyed working with his hands. As a hobby, he built cigar-box guitars. He was a jack-of-all-trades, was a people person, and enjoyed miniature golf, playing darts, and blues music.
Survivors also include two children, Donny (Tara) Quigley, of Noblesville, Ind., and Stephanie (Huseyin) Quigley Ozgur, of Greenwood, Ind.; and a sister, Marcia Quigley Shoemaker, of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Burger.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Funeral Home's Covington Chapel. Pastor Kenneth Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington, Ind.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
