John Horvath, 73, died at 3:25 a.m. Feb. 11, 2013, at Lima Manor.
He was born Jan. 25, 1940, to Joseph Frank and Margaret Davis Horvath. He married Kathy Hampton on Aug. 7, 1971, and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Horvath had been a meat cutter for A & P and Farmer Jack. He was an avid Detroit sports fans and loved to play bingo.
Survivors include a son, Jason Horvath, of Lima; a daughter, Marcy (Don) Kissick, of Lima; brothers, Kenneth (Anne) Horvath, and Frederick (Patricia) Horvath, of Michigan; sister, Sharon (Charles) Festerman, of Michigan; a sister-in-law, Mary Horvath, of Michigan; a nephew, Joseph Hampton, of Lima; and sisters-in-law, Therese Hampton, of Lima, and Kim Hampton, of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Horvath; and a sister, Mary Colvin.
The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
