Food Bank’s ‘Freezer Fund’ gets $2,400 donation

The Market Street Presbyterian Church’s Wagner-Jacobs Local Mission Fund donated $2,400 to the West Ohio Food Bank’s Freezer Fund.

The food bank raised $90,000 so far toward its goal of $120,000 to update the freezer and refrigeration systems. The donation is the start of the remaining $30,000 to begin phase two of the project.

The freezer has a capacity of 11 semitrailer loads of frozen foods, while the refrigeration unit will be capable of holding five semitrailer loads of perishable products.
