LIMA — Lima Young Professionals wanted a way to honor its outstanding members and supporters. That desire has resulted in the inaugural Lima YP Black Tie Awards Gala.
The event starts with cocktails at 5 p.m. Wednesday at The Ohio Theatre. Tickets are $30 or $240 for a table. Dress is suit or tuxedo for men and evening wear for women. Call 419-222-6045 for tickets or details.
The night also includes dinner, entertainment by comedy improv group Laughs in Middle America and a keynote speech by Bill Walters.
“We are recognizing young leaders in our community, Lima YP ‘influencers,’ and honoring an individual or business who has embodied the mission and purpose of the Love Lima community pride movement,” Lima YP program director Jacquelyn Beckner said.
