FINDLAY - The Ohio State Highway Patrol Findlay Post is investigating a head-on crash that occurred early Friday.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of County Road 300 and County Road 95, near Findlay. A 17-year-old Findlay boy was driving northbound on County Road 300, and Gloria A. Housh, 70, of Findlay, was making a left turn from westbound County Road 95 onto County Road 300. The teen drove left of center just south of County Road 95, striking Housh head-on.

Hanco EMS took the teen to Blanchard Valley Hospital for minor injuries. Housh was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by her husband for precautionary measures. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

The teen was cited for driving left of center. Alcohol was not a determining factor in the crash. The teen told troopers he fell asleep at the wheel.
