Hancock Sheriff gets grant for road safety

Hancock Sheriff’s Office nets grant

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office received $32,562 in grant money to use to make the roads safer.

The Ohio Department of Public Safety Office of Criminal Justice Services awarded the money in federal traffic safety funding. The money is to be used to focus on traffic safety priorities such as seat belt use, impaired driving, motorcycle safety and young drivers.
