1100 block of Rice Avenue, Lima — A man called the Lima Police Department on Monday to report that someone had broken into his locked vehicle via a broken window. The man reported the window can be pushed down to be opened. Once inside, the burglar damaged the dashboard in order to steal the car stereo as well as another item.

1700 block of Brookwood Drive, Lima — A man called the LPD Monday to report he had cashed a check for another person at his business that turned out to be stolen.

700 block of South Union St., Lima — A man called LPD Monday and reported that a woman who lived with him stole items from his bedroom while he was away. Officers checked the woman’s bedroom and did not find the missing items.

1200 block of Leland Avenue, Lima — Officers responded to a call of domestic violence Monday.

100 block of East North Street, Lima — Officers responded to a call of reported theft Monday.

600 block of Brower Road, Lima — Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers noticed a broken north-facing window and the bedroom had been rummaged through.

400 block of McPherson Avenue, Lima — Officers responded to a residence regarding a report of breaking and entering Monday. The burglars stole 30 to 35 feet of copper piping from the basement. The piping was valued at $200.

900 block of North Cable Road, Lima — A woman called to report someone had broken into her car by lock-picking the locks Monday.

Prospect Avenue at Roosevelt Street, Lima — A man walking south on Prospect Avenue in the street, while no sidewalks were obstructed, failed to comply with officers during a pedestrian check. The man began to run away from police, when he got 15 feet away from officers, officers used a stun gun to attempt to subdue him. The stun gun hit his jacket but did not penetrate it. The man was later taken down and arrested for obstructing official business.

600 block of North West Street, Lima — A woman called the LPD to report a theft of items from her home.
