CARROLL — Lima Central Catholic improved to 12-1 on the season with a 66-58 boys basketball victory over Bloom-Carroll on Friday night.

After trailing 16-14 in the first quarter and owning a 27-26 margin at halftime, the Thunderbirds used a 21-12 burst in the third quarter to finally get a little breathing room which proved to be enough for the win.

Dantez Walton (21), Tre Cobbs (13), Jake Williams (12) and Nick Taflinger (10) all scored in double digits for LCC.

St. Marys 66, Bath 45

ST. MARYS — Issac Fitzgerald (18), Quinn Zaerr (12) and Josh Young (11) all scored in double digits for St. Marys. Andrew Renner had 17 points and Isaiah Frazier scored 11 for Bath.

Shawnee 62, Kenton 56

KENTON — Jaden O’Neal had 21 points and Angelo Fox scored 12 for Shawnee. Austin Phillips led Kenton with 25 points.

Columbus Grove 60,

Paulding 45

COLUMBUS GROVE — Jace Darbyshire had 29 points and Tanner From scored 10 for Columbus Grove in its Northwest Conference victory. Alex Arellano led Paulding with 13 points.

Celina 47, Wapakoneta 42

WAPAKONETA — Ryan Hoyng had 17 points and Crant Laffin scored 13 as Celina improved to 11-2 overall and 4-0 in the Western Buckeye League. Adam Henderson had 12 points and Kodi Morgan scored 11 for Wapak which fell to 7-6 on the season and 2-2 in the WBL.

Ada 51, Allen East 49

ADA — Allen East’s fourth quarter surge came up short as Blake Willeke had 15 points and Levi Bass scored 14 for the host Bulldogs. Spencer Miller had 14 points and Travis Wireman scored 13 for Allen East.

Delphos St. John’s 67,

New Knoxville 61

NEW KNOXVILLE — Alex Odenweller (23), Tyler Conley (19) and Andy Grothouse (14) all scored in double digits for Delphos St. John’s. Adam Howe had 24 points and Logan Leffel scored 12 for New Knoxville.

WAYNESFIELD — Markus Howell had 26 points and Michael Breaston scored 11 for Temple Christian. Lake Turner (13) and Colin Lowe (10) each scored in double digits for Waynesfield-Goshen.

FORT JENNINGS — Continental outscored Fort Jennings 10-6 in the fourth quarter but the host Musketeers hung on for the victory. Austin Kehres led Fort Jennings with nine points while Wade Stauffer scored 10 for Continental.

OTTAWA — Jason Schnipke and Noah Bramlage each had 14 points for O-G.

COLDWATER — Dylan Thobe had 16 points and Andy Brunet scored 10 for Coldwater. Brandon Gibson led Parkway with 11 points.

MILLER CITY — Colin Bendele (15), Kyle Bendele (12), Austin Honigford (11) and Tyler Roby (11) all scored in double digits for Ottoville. Jackson Lammers had 14 points and Adam Niese scored 12 for Miller City.

VERSAILLES — Micaiah Cox had 17 points and Darien Sheffer scored 10 for Fort Recovery.

St. Henry 57, Marion Local 51

ST. HENRY — Evan Prenger had 20 points and Ryan Mikesell scored 13 for St. Henry. Ryan Bruns had 20 points and Luke Knapke scored 18 for Marion Local.

MINSTER — Cason Manger had 24 points and Ale Britton scored 13 for New Bremen. Matthew Trushaw led Minster with 23 points.
