LCC falls to Versailles in overtime

VERSAILLES — Versailles went on a 10-0 run at the beginning of overtime to beat Lima Central Catholic 68-56 on Saturday night in boys basketball.

Michigan State recruit Kyle Ahrens scored 31 points, 21 of them in the second half, to lead the Tigers (9-2). His brother, Justin Ahrens, had 15 points and Jace Barga scored 10.

Tre Cobbs (17 points), Josh Dixon (13 points) and Dantez Walton (11 points) led LCC (10-1), which saw a 20-game winning streak end.

LEIPSIC — Jace Darbyshire had 25 points to lead Columbus Grove. Jordan Brown had 18 points and Isaiah Lomeli scored 11 for Leipsic.

DELPHOS — Tyler Conley had 15 points and Alex Odenweller scored 12 for St. John’s. Jaden O’Neal led Shawnee with 16 points.
