The Bradfield Community Association would like to thank The Lima News Empty Stocking Fund for enabling us to provide Christmas cheer and joy to more than 100 senior citizens and 100 children during the holiday.
Along with support from Tom Ahl dealership and donations from Sam’s Club, Gordon Foods and Lowes we were able to provide lunch for seniors and toys and lunch with Santa for children and families. More than 100 children received a gift from Santa and two received a bike.
Our goal was make sure that families in need had at least one gift to give to their child at Christmastime. Five students from Allen East High School’s student council helped to distribute the gifts. The families also received fruit and other items to help with the need.
