LCC, Shawnee win in tennis

The Lima Central Catholic and Shawnee girls tennis teams collected victories Thursday.

LCC defeated Lima Senior 5-0 and the Indians topped Findlay 3-2.

At the Collett Street Courts, Kacey Bradshaw led the Thunderbirds by not losing a game.

At Shawnee, singles players Anita Kottapalli and Nkiru Anigbogu did not lose a game.

Bluffton 3, Kenton 2

KENTON — The Bluffton doubles team of Aila Baizhomartova and Beth Oldham did not lose a game in their match. Kenton singles players Claire Oates and Breanna Alexander won.

Wapak 5, Marysville 0

WAPAKONETA — The Redskins moved to 5-0 on the year as singles player Allie Zofkie did not lose a game in her match.

Ada 3, Marion Harding 2

ADA — The Bulldogs moved to 5-0 on the season as singles player Mackenzie Wills lost only one game in her match.

Defiance 3, Napoleon 2

DEFIANCE — Singles player Raquel Gomez lost only two games in her match as the Bulldogs moved to 2-0 on the season.

Lancer Invitational

VAN WERT — Fort Recovery won the team title with a 337 followed by Lincolnview (346).

Josiah Rager of Lincolnview was the medalist with a 73.

Tri match

MINSTER — New Bremen (169) defeated Delphos St. John’s (181) and New Knoxville (239). Alex Britton of New Bremen was the medalist with a 38.

Parkway 216

ROCKFORD — Trisha Thien led Fort Recovery with a 47.

Defiance Invitational

DEFIANCE — Shawnee (427) finished third and Wapakoneta (429) fourth in the event won by Northview (370).
