100 block of Harrison Avenue, Lima — A woman left her apartment for about an hour Wednesday. While she was gone, she left the apartment unlocked in case family needed to get inside. While she was gone, someone went into her apartment and stole multiple items.

200 block of North Cole Street, Lima — A man stated that someone broke into a shed behind and stole items Wednesday. Officers reported that the lock to the shed had been broken off.

2045 N. West St., Lima — A manager at Burger King noticed that $80 had come up missing from the drive-thru cash register. Upon reviewing the video footage Wednesday, she noticed an employee took the money from the register and put it in his pants pocket.

235 E. Vine St., Lima — The owner of the Vine Street Mini Mart told LPD that a counterfeit payroll check was cashed at his store Thursday.

100 block of South Dana Avenue, Lima — A man reported that someone broke into his home while he was at work with a pry bar and stole a safe in his closet Thursday. The suspect left the pry bar in the victim’s kitchen and may be a friend of the victim’s.

300 block of East 11th Street, Lima — Officers responded to a report of assault Tuesday.
