The Lima City Men’s Golf Championship will be one day shorter this year than in the past, running from Wednesday June 24 through Sunday June 28.
The tournament traditionally has been a Tuesday-Sunday event. But it experienced a sharp decline in the number of entrants last summer.
The shorter tournament is in response to players who said they were more likely to play if it was a shorter time commitment, tournament chairman Scott Geier said.
