LOLA C. MADDEN, 81, died the morning of July 10, 2005, at her residence.

She was born April 2, 1924, in Toledo to Harry E. and Edith I. Weed Davenport, who preceded her in death. On June 5, 1943, she married Harry Robert Madden, who died Jan. 1, 1967.

Mrs. Madden was a homemaker and had been a supervisor in the catalogue department at J.C. Penney Co. Inc., Wapakoneta, for 17 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Mary) Madden of Dayton and Jack (Deb) Madden of Wapakoneta; four daughters, Shirley (Fred) Koenig of Pataskala, Gloria (Kenneth) Flohr of Crestline, Nancy (William) Truesdell of Cincinnati and Bonnie (Jack) Berry of Wapakoneta; and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rex and Glenn Davenport; and a sister, Marie Burnham.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. The Rev. Henry Albietz will officiate. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Cemetery, Toledo.

Friends may call from noon until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
